The Short Version (Our Core Commitment)
VisualFable does not upload, transmit, store, or view your photos on any remote server. Every operation — from cropping and applying borders to rendering and exporting high-resolution images — is executed 100% locally in your web browser.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
When you drop, browse, or paste an image into VisualFable:
- We never transfer your image files over the internet to any server.
- We do not collect photo EXIF metadata, GPS locations, or camera serial numbers.
- We do not create user accounts or profile your editing habits.
2. How Your Images Are Processed
VisualFable uses modern HTML5 Canvas API, OffscreenCanvas, and Web Worker technology. When you select an image:
- The image file is read strictly into your computer or smartphone's local RAM.
- Calculations and frame graphics are generated off-screen by a background thread running in your browser.
- When you click export, the file is saved directly to your device's download directory via browser download APIs.
3. Local Storage and IndexedDB
To offer a smooth user experience, VisualFable may store temporary draft state (such as your last chosen frame template and border width) in your browser's local storage or IndexedDB. This data remains on your physical device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser cache.
4. Analytics & Cookies
We may utilize privacy-friendly, anonymized web traffic analytics (such as page view counts) to monitor site stability and improve template offerings. No personally identifiable information (PII) or image data is ever linked to analytics.
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions or security inquiries regarding our privacy architecture, please reach out via our Contact Page.
